I know where my thoughts run to……”If I’m not lovely, I won’t be loved.” Where did this come from? Why do I still believe this? I know I aquired a certain amount of attention as a teen from how I looked, but I don’t know where the shift occured to my thought process of not looking “Perfect” means I won’t be loved. Just some thoughts on where I am in this journey of life. Thank you so much for your insights. I am in process, and life is messy.
I think as women we are all so hard on ourselves Joan. We just keep motoring on, a work in progress all of our lives. Dr. Nicola is awesome. I love her podcasts.
